I have a size 50 raptor and yes I think you were right about the clutch hitting the bell. I tighten the nut on the crank shaft and the engine mount holes seem to line up better than they did.

When you rotate the nose up and down to make sure the engine will run smoothly do you do this at idle or at full throttle.
