I bought them both and like them both. Savage is more durable and a little harder to tune. T-Maxx is faster, turns better, but much more fragile.

I just got my one way bearing and now for the question. Should you grease the bearing or not? I'm not sure because if you grease it does it still grip the shaft.

I used the search when I was looking for a truck.
I ended up buying both. The Savage Plastic is flexible and therefore takes to bashing better than the T-Maxx.
