I don't know which "modulation shift" the Kraft uses, but Hitec Rx's are typically negative for use with Futaba/Hitec. However, positive shift (for JR/Airtronics) is available on most of their Rx's...

Modern actuator driven models are not at all like the old days. Today's actuators do not flap or wiggle. They use high rate PWM rather than the old 4-12 PPS we old folks flew with.

Most operate in the low 200Mhz's. Some are in the 400Mhz's. RF power is low.

On a legal level, you cannot modify a 72Mhz or 75Mhz radio's RF circuitry. That includes the antenna and antenna connections. So, any custom antenna hacks would be in violation of the Part 95 Sub-C...

If you are good with a soldering iron then this is the cheapest solution. Just pad the outside pot leads with a series resistor (2 required). Try 1K's to start.

I am not sure when, but at some point the USA distributed 8103's had CCPM enabled from the factory. Older models needed a service tech to spend two minutes and enable if from the "secrete" service...
