RE: USB Interlink Controller Q

I can only use the Interlink Controller if I unplug my standard (gameport) joystick, otherwise AFP doesn't see it.

RE: USB Interlink Controller Q

I believe the G2 USB Interlink Controller just looks like any other USB joystick. It certainly works with AFP and you can see it in the XP joystick setup/calibration screen.

RE: Why no reflex XTR Airplane video yet??

The videos worked for me. You may need a DivX codec or something.

RE: JR PCM9X or PCM10sx

Just out of interest, why won't you be carrying the 9x in the States?

RE: AFP and JR X-2610 (X-6102 in USA)

OK, the solution for the AFP JR 2610/6102/9x TX issue is indeed focused around the stereo plug as supplied on the AFP interface. A simple stereo to mono adapter does not do the job but I made up an...

RE: AFP and JR X-2610 (X-6102 in USA)

I have been told that plugging the interface into a stereo to mono converter will fix the problem. I haven't tried it yet but I will in the next couple of days.

RE: AFP and JR X-2610 (X-6102 in USA)

Thanks. I have heard that it's something to do with the stereo plug that comes attached to the AFP interface but I have not confirmed this yet.

RE: What radio do ya'll use?

I use a JR X-2610 which is the same as the X-6102 in the USA. It's a great TX to use for heli's with many programmable functions but you will need a feather-weight RX for use in one of these micro...

RE: Broken ball links! A fix to 'em all!

Hey dragon-dude,

Thanks for the idea. I've been waiting on a replacement swashplate for my Eolo because I broke a ball off. I made one change to your method and used a threaded push-rod end...

AFP and JR X-2610 (X-6102 in USA)

I can't get my X-2610 to work with the interface cable supplied with AFP. The interface is recognised and will work with a Hitec Flash 5 System X using the supplied adapter cable (DIN) but when I...

RE: My 2 cents...

My preference is AFP followed by G2. G2 has better eye and ear candy but AFP physics is much more realistic and perfect for 3D practice IMHO.

RE: What to buy after Dragonfly ?

Also, don't forget that the Eolo is considerably larger than the Zoom 400.

RE: What to buy after Dragonfly ?

You should be able to get an Eolo for about AU$460 including express freight from the States. AU$499 sounds reasonable though, if you were to get it in Australia. My opinion is that you shouldn't pay...

RE: Spy Hawk (COLCO Thunderbird) and 3S Li-po Rocks!

James,

I had endless problems with the cut-out on the stock ESC/BEC board. I'm not sure if it's set too high or the batteries that were supplied with mine were crap. I suspect that under load...

RE: New toys on the way!!

I have a JR 2610 which is the Australian 6102. Kick ass value for money. So far I haven't found anything I can't do with it. The only thing I can think of in the future is more channels. It gets...

RE: What to buy after Dragonfly ?

I did a fair bit of research for my next electric heli and settled on the Eolo as it is a modern design, moderately priced, well built, CP, stable, lots of upgrades and spare parts (in Australia) and...

RE: Spy Hawk (COLCO Thunderbird) and 3S Li-po Rocks!

helisfreak, there is still a minor change (normal) in altitude but it doesn't drop out of the sky like it used to.

RE: Spy Hawk (COLCO Thunderbird) and 3S Li-po Rocks!

I got mine from http://www.modelflight.com.au in Australia but you could try clicking on the word Kokam in my post, a new rcuniverse feature I believe. :)

Spy Hawk (COLCO Thunderbird) and 3S Li-po Rocks!

I have just replaced the 9.6V 700mAh NiMH battery pack on my Spy Hawk (COLCO Thunderbird) with a 11.1V Kokam 1500mAh 3S Li-po and it now rocks! I can hover out of ground effect for minutes instead of...

Well, to finish the tale, the second order arrived today (March 11) even though it still is not showing on the HeliHobby tracking page. I guess the good news is that both orders arrived in a...

Just a follow-up on my previous post ... the order arrived here on the 9th, a seven day lead time for delivery to Australia - not too bad. The interesting thing is that the second order that I placed...

RE: any have anything other than MICRO heli?

I just went through the process of picking a new electric heli and decided on the Robbe Eolo but once again, I think you will need a heli radio with CCPM mixing.
