RE: DL-50 gas engine

Probably, or maybe you can ask for the old version and get for $370. My high timer has the thin ears and 1st version mount but no probs if you don't crash it into the runway. Did this already ( 1st...

RE: DL-50 gas engine

Well some of us do fly a lot. Most at our field come out for an hour or two and get in three to six flights but when I go to the field I don't sit around and talk. I go to the field and get at least...

RE: DL-50 engine

I like my 3 DL's better than my DA for sure. I use 30% expo on throttle. Transition is great and there is a noticable difference in engine performance between the two. (to me:)) Allthough my DA must...

RE: Monokote Question

I like to use Monokote trim solvent instead of the iron for trim pieces. No bubbles and I have time to position my pieces. Cheap and a bottle lasts a lonnnng time.

RE: Fequency Control at Your Feild?

Yeah, my card should have been up there. I'll pay to fix my own stuff. Now that I switched to 2.4 I won't have to worry about it. If the fella would have called out so every one heard this could have...

RE: Fequency Control at Your Feild?

Just went 2.4 for all my planes. $710 for module and 5 receivers. Ouch!!! Still cheaper than even my smallest plane. Now I am protected from other peopls stupidity.:) My main concern was safety. My...

Fequency Control at Your Feild?

At our field we have a frequency board and the idea is to get your frequency pin off the board and put up your membership card in place of the pin that you put on your transmitter. In reality someone...

RE: DA50 - Hard to Start, Idle Unreliable

Flew mine with the DL carb. No improvement here. I will try to modify the DL reed block and reed holder to fit. The reed holder is substantial enough to grind down to fit the opening. The reed block...

RE: DA50 - Hard to Start, Idle Unreliable

RE: Peakmodel 26 Rear Carb - BAD Purchase!!!

I would ask them to send a return shipping label if they want the old parts back. You should not have to pay shipping to any where if the parts are bad. Peak knows this as they said it would be a...
