thats what i was afraid of. what would the ultimate 2 stroke be for this plane. i have several os .46 engines but i heard that this was marginal power?

i vote yak!! i have it and love it. so easy to fly yet will do anything you want it to and then some! the os has plenty of power with a perry pump.

It has plenty of power. mine is not tuned or broken in yet but has tons of power. after seeing the vids from higher plane productions i have no doubt the 160 is plenty for this plane. at the same...

here is another sucessful maiden of a yak powered with the os 160. all i can say is wow! cant wait to fly this thing a ton this summer cas it is beyond awesome!!

looked in the manual and found you need two 12" extensions for the ailerons but couldnt find any info for the elevator servos. could somebody tell me how long the elevator extensions are? thanks

i have actually had a kit come with extensions dont remember which one it was but thanks for reminding me of the online manual i totally forgot about it.

those of you with the os 160 is it required that the motor be pumped i.e. perry vp 30 pump? i have a nib os 160 and am a little nervous about drilling and tapping the backplate for a pressure nipple....
