Dale,

On my 28X I get altitude telemetry readout on demand. I believe it needs version -0006. With earlier versions you only have sounds for up to three preset altitudes.

Those both use the standard 8-cell rectangular JR packs. Hobbyking and JR Americas should have them. The newer packs are have higher capacity so a larger-capacity charger is needed.

You nailed it. That is where I have it as well as most in our club. Indicates lift better and is easier to land. Good call.

Generally the Mystique, either as full-house or the RES version, is a great airplane. I regularly compete in ALES with the full-house version. Very predictable, especially landing. On the other forum...

RE: DX7s channel assignments & roller

This seems very odd. Regardless of mode, rudder and elevator should never be swapped. There is no channel assignability as with the DX18. I would give Horizon Hobby support a call.</p>

Bob, I recently had the exact problem with my setup two weeks ago. I noticed the packs were coming down hot and my low voltage telemetry alarm was happening much earlier in the flight. On the ground...

RE: DW Foamies On Axis

Woodie,

I wonder if your motor is a mis-labled 2814-8 (1100KV). That is more in line with it's specifications. The 2814-6 is spec'd out at 40 amps with a 9x5 prop. The -8 is 35 amps with an 11-8....

Jamie,

I have only about 10 fights on the Rimfire.15. Another one is in a 3D plane with about 50 flights on it. I like the motors a lot. It is a bit louder than a E-Flite Power 10 but seems to...

RE: fpv camera in cockpit. Does this give me enough view?

+1
Plus, you will find looking though the prop disk very disconcerting. The prop can cause amajor herringbone effect making it much harder to see, even without your other restrictions.

RE: Stupid Elevator question

I use the "Flap System" in the JR 11X.See page 23 in the manual. When activated it sets flaps down 100%. Just change it from "D100%" to "U10%." This will give you a bit of up ailerons. You may select...
