SUCCES! I used a 45A ESC from one of my bigger flying wings and hooked it up to the G46. Straight away it shot up to 800watts again at only 75% throttle. I guess it was the ESC all along..

Ok, I was able to take the motor apart. There was no "E" clip and it did just pull apart. (Needed some force, caus the magnets are strong.) I cleaned it out completly, blew any remaining dirt away...

I crashed my newly converted glow to electric plane nose first straight into the ground. (aileron servos were reversed >.<) The damage to the plane was not so bad, but my motor (a Turnigy G46 670kv)...

So in conclusion, as stated by mrasmm, I would be able to run my frige for 8-36 hours with a 12v 44Ah batterie, depending on the conditions...

The outputs have the following constant voltages:

- the 50 mA output has a constant current of 6 volt
- the 150 mA has one of 7.2 volt
- and the 500 mA output has a constant current of 3...

I got a cheap charger which I actually bought to charge my 12 volt batterie, but it is also suitable for charging ni-cd and NIMH batteries.
The only problem is that the charger only has 3 charge...

Wait a minute, is the esc not the same as the speed control ? Isn't the phoenix 10 amp both a speed controller AND an ESC or are these two totally different things ?

Well, now I know how to choose a motor (with that "Watts per pound-rule") but what about an esc and battery ?
