Well,,I cant speek too poorly about the DA...It's probably concidered one of the best. But that DOES NOT mean they dont have troubles. I seen two of them run poorly one lost it's supplied ignition...

I have the Goldberg Yak-54 with this engine combo, and my friend has your plane with it as...

I also used both servos on the ailerons....Ultra torque Hitec servos.
I have also heard of guys blowing off there ailerons due to a developed flutter and stripping out the single servo,,leading to...

Well, I'll tell you what I know about the Menace/Minus kits.
The Menace is no longer available....This actualy resulted in the Turner Brothers "TP2" to become a company. They manufacture the Minus...

Well,,,I like it.........It has good power and easy to start! I shove my thumb in the carb inlet horn, flip it till my thumb just gets wet, turn the ignition on and flip it no more than two...

The covering is nothing more than clear Monokote on the main wing, transparent green and transparent orange.....
My Minus had a failure though,,,,it's called "Futaba Fast spectrum"........ I lost...

I wouldnt think of running a 23" prop on this one. That just seems too big to me...Your prop might even strike the ground.
I like the 8" pitch though,,,good choice for this plane.

did you have to add weight to your nose? I think the ZDZ is heavier than the Brillelli by just a bit..??
Mine flies well with the CG aft a bit from the specs..

Sorry to hear about your missfortunes with the Yak54. I really like mine!! nothing damaged after shipment to my door......I would have to believe the manufacturing suppliers have more than there...

I have a 74" wing P-47 and a G-38 would be too large and WAY to heavy for the bird...Just wondering.

It would probably fly it......but NO performance!
alot would depend on your prop as well,,,,not too sure what size prop the EVO can swing? Havent looked it up either, but I would hate to see a...
