Any One Know of Any E-Flight Pylon Races in Midwest area.

Hey guys does any one know if there are any pylon races in Michigan or ohio? Interested in pylon racing but don't have time for extensive travel. any info would be great.

Thanks for encouragement travel should not be a problem. Allready have a double wing tube and removable wings the fuse is only about 60".

The 7" prop on my weak motor was not good at all. It flies nice and smooth with a 9 or 10 inch prop, but it is definately not a speed demon.

I flew my shrike with electric power, an axi 28-26-08 70 amp opto speed control and 4000 mah battery. wieged less than 3 lbs and hand launched with no problem. got 8 min flights easy.

I was using a 11 inch prop on the first set up, the new set up has a 10 inch prop. I still have only 3 flights on it due to michigan weather.
