I have one as well. It will need an engine, radio and rudder. Its basically a bare hull. Would let it go cheap.

I got this radio with a truck and it looks new. The RX looks new, it all powers on, goes through all menus, BUT I cannot get it to operate a servo. Is there a way to rest it or something to look for...

I use Ceramic engine paint for my boats. Seems to hold up to the nitro very well.

Brushless build. What battery and prop to use?

I got a 4200KV brushless motor and 40 amps ESC. I dont want to spend the money on Lipo if I dont have to. I would have to buy a charger for it as well. So, if I were to go with a regular battery...

If I do that its running so rich it wont hardly move. Like I said, its not lean, or over heating. Its just simply running out of fuel totally at high rpm's.

What gear makes a bigger impact? Pinion or Spur?

I have a rustler with a 15t in it. I am looking for more speed. The motor is barely warm after a full 3300 pack has gone through it. So, will going form a 87 to 84 tooth spur make a bigger difference...

The motor didn not have capacitors. The motor was old and very dirty. So i am just replacing it with a Speed Gems Extreme 13 turn. I am thinking th emotor is the cause, but I will determine that...

A realistic number is 50%. Start the bid low, like .01 and set a reserve. That way you get bidders interested.

You know....I just put the motor in that was with it. I didn't look to see if it had caps on it. I ruled out a radio problem. I tried two different RX's and one other TX. The RX is on the other side...

They arent the best. It was rainy and I had to take them inside the garage. Its close to done. Its 13x25. Its got a Traxxas 20 turn motor swining a 9x6 prop with ease. Weighs in at about 3.5 lbs RTR...
