As far as reliability, I had one suck dirt, sit in my room untouched for 8mons. Cleaned it out, put fuel in and it fired right up with decent compression.

But before anyone starts to flame...

Clutch shoe Direction?

Ok Ive been out of the hobby for quite a while and I'm just starting to get back into it.

If I'm looking at my motor, what direction are the shoes supposed to go. Pics would be great.

Well Ive got the CNC c-hubs on my 7, and ran into a parked car at full speed and broke everything but the knuckle. I did put the pivot ball in the rear and the car runs on rails, and turns on a dime.

Motorman...No problem on the carb. I do what I can do to help anyone out in the hobby.

I say go with the RTR. Break your teeth on that on then when you are ready to upgrade do so. I had an OPS motor that lasted 2 seasons on the orig piston and sleeve. It all depends on how you treat...
