Put a mild brushless sytstem in the Roost and the diffs may be ok. A low kv brushless motor is not the best either because it can be too torquey which is also bad on drivetrain parts. Stick a Tacon...

The diffs in the ECX 1/18s are not the best diffs to be putting alot of speed and torque into. Go 30+ mph if you want to but be ready with some spare diffs and the cost of the diffs are not cheap you...
