I think you've got this backwards. For him to move from 100 to 90 will require even more weight, not less.;) He'll probably need to move some equipment around. Mine's close to 95 with about 3 oz...

Good luck with the maiden. I'm running the same setup so I'm anxious to see it. Mine is also a new engine with just a half gallon run through on test stand. It already idles great. I almost flew...
