Just watch King Kong tonight. Anyone know what's the bi-planes at the end of the movie that shot the ape out of the empire building? Look like a good project next after my hawk...

I really like the keleo pipes but too much $$$ [:o] and prefer the exhaust come from under the fuselage...I stick to my cheating exhaust pipes and cost only 5 bucks.

Actually it's a Sullivan fuel filler valve. Look at this link

Go to hobby-lobby.com and search for graupner prop, $20 for 15x8 3 blade.
The exhaust stack was made out of 3/8" round brass tube from K&S. Cut it into 3/4" pieces and drill holes in the stock...

I had SAITO 150 installed in my hawk and no balast needed to balance the CG. It's right on the spot as is. I had MPI on board glow driver and it help to maintain the perfect idle. I used master...

Had anyone try Saito 180 with slimline inverted pitts muffler with smoke? Will it fit totally under cowl or need a lot of trimming? I just ordered my P-6E and this is the engine combination I will...
