I'm not sure how that is going to work on a rubberized surface. You might want to do some testing. The epoxy/resin is hard surface than can be sanded.

The Blue Angel does have a really nice looking...

The Blue Angel does have a really nice looking airfoil. It does not have the blunt leading edge that you see on some of the other 70s vintage aircraft.
