I balanced mine by the manual and it flies great....

I balanced mine by the manual and it flies great. The first 21 flights were without the cowl.I have now mounted the cowl(and re-balanced it) and it flies much better.

I fly the FG60/FW190 combo at about 800ft of elevation and it performs well,not as fast as 55cc two strokes, but well.

I have flown mine,without the cowl, 9 times. I have not flown with another warbird yet,but i will soon.The 190/fg60 seems slower than my P47 and F4U with DLE 55s,good to hear that you could keep up.

I have this model to assemble with air retracts.It seems to me that if you install very hard pins,the damage will be elsewhere.Something will probably give.Anyone?

Hello Erwin.I had the same issue on my P47.I drilled out the screw holes and filled them with a 1/4inch dowels and then started over. This worked for me.Hope that helps.
