It's not. but you have to land straight and keep the roll out straight. Just got in 3 flights this morning and no issues. I do use a gyro for the rudder set to heading hold on landing and takeoff....

I did not file the struts and have had no rotation issues. The cg is correct. These planes need about 2500 g total to set up correctly. They are more nose heavy wheels down that with wheels up.

you could y the gear channel and send it to the tail retract. however the separate channel for steering is a tough one because you need the tail wheel to stop steering while it retracts.
