Aero Gloss IS different. You used to be able to thin it with a good laquer thinner, but no more. You must use their thinner. Something has...

And like with the OLD automotive paint, the gloss quickly goes away as the paint gets oxidized by exposure to the sun. One of the reasons auto manufacturers liked clear coat so much.
