It seems anyone who leaves the Basin it's cursed by the ***** Goddess and misses the place. I'm in Chicago, have a nice field to fly, pretty deserted if you compare it with the Basin but...

Paul,

If you get the link up it should work. You don't need a computer at the house. Just a DSL connection and a router. A Lynksys WRT54GL it will work more than fine and it goes for 50-60 $....

RS232 is limited to 115kbps . I think 192 is with compression and EC. Anyway , that's a cool toy. Are you planning to install a weather station at Basin ?

Yes, he was supposed to fly in the electric area but it was just me in the air and he probably thought it would be OK. Afterwords I was not in the mood to give lectures and hereafter is the reason.
