I never saw a nitro conversion for the corona. I would think you could buy the parts from lite machines and use some of your corona parts. It would be just as easy to buy a lite machines 116 or 117...

My tailboom support for the Corona gives more support to the tailboom It also has a gyro mounting pad that you can remove if you don't need it.

I bet you could run it over with a tractor trailer and it wouldn't have much more than a scratch on it. It is really that strong. Delrin can take up to 11000 Psi in a solid block.

Ahead of you a bit on the aluminum tail boom. My tail boom is made of 1/32" wall aluminum. It seems to be holding up fine for now. Your right about Ti being heaver. I made my own bushings from Delrin...

I made a Aluminum gearbox before the Delrin ones. It was 3X as heavy as the original so I gave up on it.

Did you ever see any problems with glitching with a CF crutch? Just wondering.

Due to a few request I am starting to make some tail gear boxes. If anyone is interested let me know.

I think making it from titanium could cause damage to the crutch too. On the other hand if you hit something that hard I would think you could damage the crutch no matter what kind of tail boom you...
