Alright, I thought that it would be the clutch. So, here's the big question then. Should I go with aluminum shoes again (seeing as they lasted SHORTER than the stock composite ones), or just stock up...

So you think it's a clutch problem? It's interesting though, because the traxxas part numbers for the rustler clutch shoes and those of the t-maxx are different. The rustler is 4146 versus 4146X....
