big 4 stroke's need big prop's. most run .72 to .82 size in the 40 size TWIST.i have a APC 12.25-3.75 prop on a OS .61fx, going to try out some different ones(13" to 14'') and see how they compare.

Here's some pic's of my TWIST with a OS.61 fx,it's a tight fit and you do have to shave down the motor mounts for crankcase clearance.
but the effort to get it mounted was worth it!!:Dthe engine...

waldo, i also had a st.51 on my deceaced twist and never had a problem with it. Ghee like it also ,cause he went out and got one too. hey ghee hurry up and fix her, my twist is wanting to play!!

I'm Using a APC 12.25 X 3.75 prop and it spins up quick! can't wait for it to get fully broke in!

Same here, only got 3 flights on my twist and os.61fx. mine came out alittle nose heavy, but with the power the .61 makes not a problem.

gotta love the floating!! get out in a 15 to 20 mph wind(we've done it) and watch her float with low throttle and you can almost catch it in mid-air!!

the only thing i did was shave off some material from the inside of the mounts for clearance around the crankcase. as u can see in the pic's the engine mount ear's are against the cheeks . for the os...

YEP, I Survived a plane crash:D!! like ghee said ,yesterday was a blast! forgot one detail , the second flight ended up a dead stick! got her back on the ground and the culprit was the glow plug came...

yep, the past 2 t---t had a cg of 4.75 with a st.51 on the nose. i put a os .61 fx on this one and going to add some weight to it to get 4.75 like the other one's i had before. won't take much to get...

Got the tailfeathers on, set the radio up for flaperons, all thats needed to do is set up the linkages and balance her! this is taking to long to do, getting impatient!! I should have her ready this...

oh yea, there's no substitute foe cubic inches!! my air pack came with a 1100 mAH battery pack, so that's good to go! going to try the 12.25x3.75 prop and see what happens!
