​​​it's just the way the pic looks. It is a antenna holder kit from hobby king. The straws that hold the antennas are at 45°so they hold them at 90°.

Down elevator

Your best bet is to set your elevator trim in your flap function in your radio to be able to adjust trin in each flap setting. Takes the guess work out of setting a percentage. Take off and set trim...
