I finally maidened mine yesterday.


WOW, what a great flying plane.

Gear I am using,

ZDZ50
Hitec HS645MG's on everything.
Made it into a Pull-Pull rudder using a Hitec HSC-5955TGS

I haven't got an accurate weight yet but I'm thinking it will be around 15 to 16 lbs.

I will weigh it when I can though.

I used all CA hinges, I used the 1 inch wide and the 3/4 inch wide next to one another, this should be more than adequate.

Man that's a very nice setup !

Where did you get the clips that the wires are connected too ?

They look a little like battery bars.

Well I made my rudder setup into a Pull-Pull configuration, it turned out absolutely perfect.

Well glow is really not my goal, but I do have a Moki 2.10 laying around gathering dust.
I know the biggest drawback to glow would be fuel cost.

Sounds like the Moki 2.10 would have enough...

I've looked through this entire post and did not see too much mentioned about using a Moki 2.10 for the engine and what kind of performance the plane would have using it.
