You should be able to cut away the covering over the area where it would come out very easily. If it doesn't pull out easily you may need to cut around the tube with a piece of sharpened brass tubing...

Yes we use bushings in everything.

Actually I found some at McMaster Carr that looks about the right size. It's about $20 for a 4 foot piece.

What you want is .0156" OD CF tube. Conatct me if you want me to get some for you.

I don't have enough in stock to do a plane. I can order some to ship in my next container, it would be here about Christmas time. Would that help?
