I just upgraded mine with the BM2409-12T / 25A BEC / 8x3.8 combo from hobbycity. Holy Cow! Unlimited vertical. This totally transforms this plane.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll go for the rod embedded into the wing. It sounds like the least effort to do. 2mm or 3 mm Rods should do I suppose.

What is the best way to reinforce the wings? Struts or carbon rods in the main wing?

Will I need to cut the cowl installing anyone of these motors?

Will the 2200mah fit into the battery compartment by simply cutting open the front end?
