Hmm....

The wire on mine is 4mm, or 0.158 vs. a 5/32 which is 0.156. I guess allowing for operator error I could be wrong, but I suspect they are the same diameter wire.

Hmm....

Not sure when the change was made, but I got mine in Feb. '04 and it's got the newer ball cups and the single turn spring on the gear that I took out of it when I put in the CJ's....

Too bad the gear gave up the ghost on you. I was worried about that so I bought the CJ's for mine, then I find out later that there may be some issues with that and soft rivets so...

And while I've not tried a 15x8, all the information I've been able to gather and my thrust calculator program says the 15x8 is too much. That pretty much fits with the fact that the 16x6 two blade...

I sort of figured the 14x7 might be a bit small since the 110 on my Funtana will swing a 16x6 two blade APC in the 9600 RPM range on...
