My project has been on hold. I think i remember reading that the e-flite retract mounts above the plywood mount instead of below for the nose gear. It's in the posts somewhere.

Ok, the plane has shipped. I ordered the scale struts, 2.5" spinners and 12-8 3 blade props. These will be driven by two Hacker A50-14XS-V2's. Will use 2 5s 4000...

Spring air has a 100 degree nose gear with 3/16 wire. Says up to 15 lb and i believe it. Mains are 90 degree. Air up spring down. Have yet to have a problem with these on all my other stuff....

I want to go with the 3 blade props. Not sure yet of size or pitch. Are you using a single 5s pack? I use 5s in my stuff, EDF, WW2 fighters etc. so will stay 5s, just a matter of 1 or 2...
