That's cool. Good for him. I would love to visit but alas, I live in Oklahoma now and don't go to CA very often except to visit family. I doubt he would remember me anyway--I was just a kid then....

Seems the character of the place has intensified a bit in 25 or so years. I learned to fly U/C and R/C there in the mid '70s and I remember Crazy Larry hovering Q500s just off the deck, and hogging...
