would that pump surfive pumping fuel ? then you would have a much more direct flow controll compaired to compressing a gas.
power it trough a small brushed esc for example.

think its just a tube that v=blocks

think the fuel pressure pushes the tube out of the way once a pressure is exeeded.
The inner bronse tube goes down half way between the input and return.

You can look straight trough the 2 bottum connections but the red tube thing is blocking the top one.
Looks like some over pressure valve.

Where do they sell those one-way check valves like ys...

Found this while sorting trough things.
It once came with a batch of used items and always assumed it was related to the retracts system and never opened it.

Looks like you created a primitive tuned pipe.
See if by making it longer or shorter you can find a "sweet spot" for the peak rpm you are looking for.

Are there any "full size" equivalents where the fuel tank is pressurised?
As far as i know. most use a fuel pump .
So why not focus on finding a small fuel pump instead and avoid all the plumbing...

Likely there is almost no current flowing so any external noise has a relative big influence.

That is basicly the same as the graupner and master airscrew prop plastics.

So engine runs and draws fuel.
Needless to say it showed the next problems.
The pressure nipple from the exhoust fell off relative easy fix once i can borrow a rivet tool to close...

Thumbs up engine only runs off its prime

Some succes and the next problem.
Was able to get the engine to fire but it only runs a short while off it prime.
It does not draw fuel unless i put a finger over the air intake.
