The second nut on a four stroke is used as a lock nut to help keep the prop on when a predetonation occurs.

In your situation I believe that the Spinner prop nut would act as the lock...

Hi hobbsy, you should run a jam nut on that engine. I beleive all four strokes should run jam nuts due to potential pre detonation.

Just my opinion.
