RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

The TZ has as much HP as some .21 and more then others. All so it bolts right in. I see not reason to put a big block in a MT. I had a couple .15 FE and as far as durability and reliability they are...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I had to gear my MT 1 3/4 way up just to keep the front wheels on the ground most of the time with the TZ. Even geared up high like I have it the tires balloon when I nail it in about 2 feet. [X(]

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

The power of the TZ in the MT is CRAZY. That is what I have in my MT 1 3/4. I ended up having to do up grades to the drive train to get it where I could run it more then 5 minutes at a time. [X(]

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

HPI will tell you the 100cc tank will not fit in the MT1. I have it in my MT 1 3/4 but you do have to do some modifications. You have to cut the upper deck and drill and counter sink one hole.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Turn the TX on first then the RX and check the linkage and make sure everything is working properly first. All so take the air filter off and check the above as well and your idle setting.
