I would try to keep that eng in the rpm range it would normally be running in an df jet setup..whatever that is. It will take some experimenting for sure...I was thinkin in the 10x13 or 11x13 range...

ok...i was gonna say..the first 2 shrike 10's that i had, had a .32sx on them and the wing loading was high in my opinion and the launches were effortless and the landings were shall we say... ...

I have a 40 shrike with a .45 df turning a 8.75x8.5 @ 20,400 ..I wouldn't even begin to know what a .90 would need...
The wing loading and landing speed on a 10 size shrike would be enormous.

No, you don't have to retune it every time that you remove the hatch. Once you find the proper header length for max rpm, back the pipe off a little so that the header and pipe don't touch....same...

I just did that exact thing to my shrike last night..just drill a hole in the center of the hatch where you want the mount to go. Both of my shrikes are the same way and work great..

As far as I can remember, most tuned pipes have the tank pressure nipple at the fattest part of the pipe itself...not the header. I asked the same question to my lhs owner and he explained it all to...

I would think your wing should be ok unless you are one of those guys who fly straight up and out of sight and then dive straight down at full throttle and then pulls up hard 10 feet before they plow...

I finished up the rest of my engine testing today...I got a solid 20,400 rpm with an APC 8.75x8 and 30% nitro...that's a full 1,100 more rpm than last tests....I hope the airframe holds up after she...

My first 2 shrike 10's had an OS .32 in them, so I know what you mean....my newest shrike 10 has a cox/rjl .15 conquest in it....not quite as fast yet, but the trade off in handling and landing speed...
