I got my 60 size Escapade today, What a sweet bird. This is a real modell airplane intended for fun. Quality is top notch. Cant wait to fly this one. Assembly looks straight forward.

I flow my Escapade today with my O.S. 55, Awesome flight envelope! Both really fast and slow. Running my O.S. with a Jett tuned muffler / minipipe. rpm needs to be 15.000+ to avoid over heating....

I build one with an lightweight HP .40 @ 4lbs and a O.S. .55 @ 5.5 lbs See post 615 and 616, Two complete different acting air crafts, I love them both and can not say wich one is the best.

I have taken my time and done it right. Inotched a piece of hardwood, drilled and inserted the elevator joiner.
30 Min Epoxy sandwich the joiner between thin plywood.
I had to notch the fuselage...

CG was set at 3 1/2 inches instead of the recommended 2 1/2 inches? I will have to try this. Did you try both ways as a reference?

Updated my linkages with a ball joint, this eliminated all the play. Remember to loctite the nut!

Read my comparision on Page 25, A light 40 is great power plant, You might have to move the battery like I did to make it balance.
