Jeff - A fuel dot is nothing more than a recepticle that is attached to the cowl. A brass plug in the end of the vent line snaps up into the recepticle. Easy. You don't need to remove your tank.

Jeff - I just finished my Spacewalker II and I drilled a hole in the bottom of my cowl and installed a fuel dot. Very clean and easy to use.
