Hey folks, How did the lateral balance come out for you guys that are running the DA50... I put the ignition battery (1800 mAh NoBS Nicad) on the left side of the motor box and the ignition module...

Well folks: I'm not sure I can hold off until Spring. I just finished my Ulti and fired it up for the first time. Runs SWEET. Got idle at about 1700, topped out at about 6200 with a 3W 22/10...

Got it fixed to acceptable by flat spotting a 3/4 inch wide area where the hinge sits. Didn't impact travel and cut the gap to less then the thickness...

Boy that tail wheel tire is LAME! I read the other reports that the foam was collapsing under the weight, but a picture IS worth a thousand words :-) Guess I'll pick up the carbon tail...

Bubba, I just have a gut feeling that once I get started on this giant scale stuff I'm gonna really like it. Problem is, the prices seem to go up proportional to the overall wing area :)
