moved my water pick up to the transom of the boat and it made a huge difference
used bigger lines from offshore electrics and a Traxxas pick up from the villian

Dan I hate to say this but the 3600 are not enough to really power this boat.
You need to get a K 42 or 45 prop that will solve the cavitation problem but better batteries will be a solution

ALways have liked the white myself
put the port side turn fin on the boat it makes a huge difference

THe thing I noticed about the metal prop vs the CF prop is the turns
THe boat bogs down when you turn it hard with the CF prop on vs the metal prop

I ran mine all summer using prather cable grease with no issues including a 3 mile lake run.
I have had very few issues with the boat other then a re paint about a month ago.

I have seen that on youtube with the 3 blade takes forever to get going but once its up it flies.
will test it next week and see how they work

I tape mine now also after thinking that it was going to be a pain.
the boat can flip and there is no worries about water flushing in and destroying things

I am running 5000 Nimh's from Max amps with a K42 prop and they get pretty hot
I would like to switch to Lipo but I have been tied up with other thiings.
The boat runs awesome set up like this...

What are you using for grease also you don't have to grease it all the way to the end I leave the area that goes into the collet bare.
