When you started "tweaking" a plane the weight can add up quickly. There is another thread on the TF GS P-47 where a guy says his weighs 36 lbs. Mine weighs 21 lbs.

I moved the batteries back as far as I could and also added 6 oz of lead in the tail. The motor swap added about 1.5 lbs to the gross weight.

I re-engined my Jug with a Saito FG60R3 radial. The engine barely fits inside the cowl, but it does fit. I have flown five flights with it so far.
