I subscribe that way also but it's much slower going through all those emails to pick what I want to look at. I use Internet Explorer 7.0 and run the main page of the Speed Electric and Rum Runner as...

Well, at least I ddn't hit anyone. I have no idea what bent one of my turn fins and knocked the other turn fin straght up. I must have hit one of those giant gold fish.

Great way to supply water for cooling. That's what I use on my SV and it keeps things really cool. It wotks well on the straights and in right or left turns and the least drag. Make one yourself....

Electrical tape in all colors from Lowes. It bends around the curves, sticks great, matches most colors and doesn't pull up the paint.

Who knows. I bet you'd have a hard time measuring any benefit from those mods. Also I think he meant to round the bottom of the rudder to decrease lift. Our stock rudder is squared off on the bottom....

Here is a link to a good explanation of why the wedge shape with a square trailing edge on a rudder. It seems that the same should apply to the turning fins....

My thought is that the extra turn fin adds drag which reduces speed and probably holds the nose down which improves handling at the expense of speed. I haven't yet, but plan to try only one fin but...
