That pictures of yours shows something in the groove. Is that preventing you to latch the hatch on?

The best is to remove the latch hardware and tape it over the hole so no water gets in.

After a long quest it popped at ebay finally. The guy is from HK and has an online shop where I think it is like $1 cheaper (you can google his ebay ID to find it).

I wish it comes as a kit as many things on this RTR are not perfect or even poorly done and that is why this thread is here. It takes more time to fix it than it would take to build it....

Where can I find an aluminum 36mm water cooling jacket? I know that offshore sells it but wonder if I can get is cheaper considering their $9 S&H.

Actually this: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ose-mjacket seems to be the ultimate cooling for the stock motor. I will try to drill the current water pickup as others suggested....

May be you need to reveres the throttle channel on your TX? Oh...you did that. So the original TX/RX still works?

I run about 7 minutes on 4000 and 4200 cells with no heat issues on CF42 prop and I used to use the stock one as well with no issues on 12 cells. With 14 cells heat generated should be more.

I think your theory comes from brushed technology.

Now let's talk about brushless...1/2 throttle puts a load on inefficient ESC only, not on motor or battery. ESCs these days should be efficient...

How old Venom 3600 are and how many cycles you have on them? It seems that they have been damaged prematurely by improper maintenance. I would look into a proper maintenance first. EP are good brand...

FYI...Removing the radio box saves you about 90g. Servo can be glued (double side tape with drops of CA) to the wood.

Question...I have epoxy the wood and strengthen weak points with a thin fiberglass. I have also cut some from the brass prop tube to remove little bit from the bend on the end towards the motor. Now...
