RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I havent tested one, but any radio should work.

The tabs should be in soon. The machine shop is a bit slower than they promised.
I can't wait myself. Adjusting will be a snap!

Including the turn fins.

In order to gain in handling you will have to run the hull wetter. Which will reduce speed but make...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

My friend tried the wide metal ones and they worked, but he had to re-drill. I'm trying to help people avoid that.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Sorry to hear about the aero tabs. I didnt think of that either. The ones I'm getting a price on are very similar to the metal tabs listed on the site now. They are very low profile.

I "hope" to have metal tabs specifically made to fit the SV. I have a machine shop working up the pricing.
So far it looks hopeful.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Did you also increase the size of the water outlet hole?

How would you guys like a set of adjustable tabs that will fit the stock mounting holes?

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I can not comment on the radios, because I have two SV's, both are running great with the stock radios.
I'm sorry you guys are having issues with them. Unfortuantly the best resolution is a fm...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

The blades are pretty stiff on the stock prop. Similar in stiffness to the graupner props. I have tested the graupner carbon props and the boat gets on plane nicely. So I don't think its the material...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I didn't get the temps, because by the time I retrieved the boat the temps would have been way off. At 31 amps I'm pretty confident that everything's running well. The shaft on the SUpervee is...

All tests were with gp3700 packs. The packs are last years race packs, that have lots of wear and tear on them. I ran 12 cells total. I ran middle of the...
