I fly my C-182 with a G-26....

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

For What It Is Worth,

It seems that I am obsessed with the fragile C-182 firewall, therefore I took the last step in trying to keep it in place where it was intended to be by ................

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

Joe,

You recieved great information from Edward B. however, I would like to add another thought. Although I also cut a hole in the bottom of the motor box to raise the serria strut higher as my...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

Hi Yakflyer,

Noticed on your response that you were able to add triangular support stock to the firewall area. If this was done behind the origional firewall, I would appreciate knowing how you...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

The stock strut would be my last choice. The Serria with its "Olio" strut function I feel is the most forgiving. The wheel fork on the Robert will tend to be bent to the side on a less then good...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

The G-26 is a great engine for the Cessna 182. I am using a Grumpner 3 bladed 15 x 8 prop and get excellent results. The nose gear and firewall are tender areas on this model, so try to flair out on...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

Dear Andy,

I am about 2/3 finnished with my H-9 182. Like yourself, I love the plane and the ARF model by H-9. I tend to build or have built for me most of their 1/4 scale aircraft. I have a...
