I can say whenever I tune with the glow driver on and hit the lean side the plug is instantly trashed . No more smooth idle for me , I burned up about 4 plugs doing this ,there is really no need to...

I think the Vess props are like that and many gas guys love those props . I can see a good demand for it in the 3d market .

Go with a better brand of prop . 18x6W for 3d and I use the JZ's for all around performance the Xoar felt pretty good also. All 18x6 on 30% .

You should be getting 8600-9000 off a 18x6w apc and around 8400 on a 18x6 Xoar .
Why the pics of the 3D Hobby AJ Slick ? You should try the 180 in the 70" Slick :)

Ive been running Cool power for years now, nothing wrong with it but whats in peoples minds. Ohh and BTW I use no after run oil either .

Just get a Cline regulator and be done with the hassle of the pump . Iron Bays are nice also and I tend to use them on my bigger stuff.

I use cheap tower hobbies starter for my 180 . Even with the porta pack its no problem. :D

My planes are pretty clean after the needles get tweaked out .Im running , say , 10 inches of LARGE diameter tubing also . Also my engine is inverted .

+1 Thats why I like to tune up at a half tank , Some look at me funny for suggesting this though . Dont know where I got the idea , maybe here but its a good idea and still even do it with the Clines.

Doesn't matter , you'll never be able to compare your needle settings with some one else's period . There are way too many variables .
Plus once you take the time to get it nice and tuned in why...

I have 8oz on my .82's with a very comfortable 10 minutes .:) This is on a 3d plane though, so throttle is not full all the time .
