BL motors do NOT like to be run unloaded...as in free spinning in thin air... regardless of whether or not you have artificial cooling. There have been a few threads about this you can search for. ...

I agree. Unless you are going to compete with your SV27, the left side fin is a must. I am guessing you will loose a whopping 0.1 MPH with the extra drag of the extra fin. Most of the flip video...

This prop is for a 5mm shaft. The last time I checked the SV27 has a 3/16" prop shaft which is 4.5mm in diameter. I guess you could put a sleeve on it to tighten it up to 4.5mm

I'm not sure you should use a screw on prop with the SV27. While you can make it work, you really need a drive dog on one end and a nut on the other to handle the sheer power and torque of the BL...

Very nice. Put 12c IB4200's in there and then you'll know why they are so expensive. Trust me, it makes a big difference. It is cool that even with lower output packs that the 642 can still put...

I have a set of those too (for my old Super Hawaii) that never got used. I thought they were too big for a 27" boat but what the heck...if they work...they work. I also kind of like the all metal...
