Blade 400 gear works fine as a replacement.... i bought quite a few in the beginning ;-) my LHS only vcarries blade parts, thats how i know. and their cheap, like 4.50 for a set.

well guys, the shark 450 augusta has been IXNAYED.... im using a BlackHawk 500 SePro as the guts in the Augusta A109 now! just had to shorten the boom to fit it, and its a TIGHT fit!

the white wire is for the gain adjustment via TX..... if the tail wags, try and turn the gain down a bit.

the "proper" way to set up a tail, is to start in rate mode, get the blades set to...

Hmmm. was wondering about that V3 Gyro! sounds like it would be worth a try. well, my servos are all fine. i have the parts here to re-build.... ill do it after work. itll be better than before!

the max speed i calculate is 3543 rpm..... im flying around at around 75% throttle, so the headspeed is approx 2657..... if you wanna take off 8% for inneficiency, its around 2450 rpm.

if your using the factory radio, its all set up, pretty much the only thing you can change is pitch curve and pitch limit, the trottle curve is preset. i dont have much experience with the factory...

the Falsher is 'sposed to be a t-rex clone, as the head has thrust bearings in it can you tell mw which spindle shafts are used in this heli? (v1 or v2)?

and i'd imagine all...

awesome! i have the esc on the bottom plate as well.... my gyro (art-tech v2, for now) under the main gear, but i will mount the 2100t on the boom, top.......i just got the tail all installed, now...

rotorhead..... the slow tail isnt a result of gearing or blades. its the crappy servo on the tail. ill mount a stronger one on there, and move the flybar weights.

hey, ill try that! it didnt dawn on me.... my 500 hasnt got any weights on the flybar... ill try it today after work. and as far as the tail blades go, the 500 uses the same as the 450.

im running the regular align 450 paddles. and yeah, the servo on the tail is WEAK. without the chineese weight mod it wouldnt hold at all..... ill put something stronger on there before i switch back...
