Very cool landing gear! I am eager to see how you finish those off. The springs are probably easier, but the compressed air would be a little more forgiving on a hard landing?

An oleo is a shock absorber with an oil chamber, a gas chamber, and a piston that when compressed forces oil through an orifice into the gas chamber, compressing the gas and resisting the shock.

I see the gear is in place - how did you mount it? Did you build the oleo struts you talked about?

Can't wait to see the details on the homemade oleo struts - that sounds to me like the sort of overcomplicated DIY job that I just dig! :D

I've doubled plans sizes before as well and I recommend that when you fold the plans, leave a little more than half the plan showing (maybe 2" more) to allow you to overlap the two halves after...
