The CG will effect the glide more than the difference in wing loading the Wasp and throttle servo will make. With a plane like this (high wing/flat bottom airfoil) you can test glide it over tall...

Just kidding; we always called pre-glowplug engines Sparkers or Sparkies since they use spark plugs.

cp has something there with the APC 6x2. I've been switching back and forth between that and the 5.7x3. The 6x2 is more in character with the Q-Tee. Take his advice and try one. It might even smooth...
