RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I too would remove the radio box. You must tape the hatch closed. In order to do so remove the latch lock. This will seal the hull off. Water proofing the receiver and servos will help in case the...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Broke the carbon tube? Are you taping the hatch shut. It doesn't sound like it?

Order a real marine ESC such as a Castle Hydra 120 and then you won't have that problem.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Batteries are never too much when considering C rating. The higher the better. Review the stickied thread on the electric forum.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

If I'm reading this correctly, I believe you have it.

In parallel you can't have a pack that is at 12v and another that is at 11.8v. The packs will discharge / charge each other until they...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

In series capacity and C rating must be kept the same.

In Parallel voltage must be kept the same. You can use different capacities in parallel. For example you can use a 500mAh pack with a...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Most chargers will only handle up to 2C or less for a 5000mAh pack. Remember that's a 10A charge rate.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

You don't need to break in LiPo's or baby them the first charge. Hit them with 5A. (for a 5000mAh pack, 1C) They should not get warm during charging either. I have charged up to 3C on some packs. ...
