Little background, I started this plane six years ago, got about 80% done and got distracted by two kids! However been buying and...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

I've sort of put this plane on the back burner, as I have some of the same issues with the rudder. I set up plane with the servos for the elevator and rudder, mounted under the floor of the cockpit,...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

O.K. My 182 is officially back on the bench! My plane is about 95% done, just have to do the following:
1. Recover the vertical fin in Dark blue
2. Fix the binding of the rudder, as I moved the...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

I'm using the ASP 160, which is a copy of the OS 160! Also EBAY has a couple of 160 twins as of yesterday! I bought my ASP 160 on EBAY for $469

Just checked, there is 3 160 twins and some NIB...

RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

Hey, that's a nice site with some good ideas!

I'm probably going to have the guy over at http://www.keleo-creations.com/ and have him make me an exhaust for my ASP 160 twin!

I would...

RE: RE: Building the Hangar 9 Cessna 182 Skylane

I'm using a ASP 1.60 twin. Even a 1.20 four-stroke would be sufficient. Remember this is a scale plane that doesn't need to be overpowered.

I'll be posting photos of my modifications over the...
